So, you may have thought that I already left, but that's because you did not account for the volcano factor. If a volcano is spewing at 50 miles/hr and sand transforms into glass in 2ms, how long does it take to reopen British airspace?

Well, let's all keep our fingers crossed and think northeasternly thoughts for volcano ash. If all goes well, I'll be on a plane tomorrow to one of the few airports open in Europe and my vacation can go on.
