4-20-10 from a cafe in Sarlat

I have arrived! I was planning a more elaborate post with pictures but this will have to suffice as I am typing this outside a cafe, wifi courtesy of my cafe creme.

To sum things up, I have a lovely, yes lovely! flight over. Met a Belgian gentleman who makes me thinks of James Bond - the casino royal one. I rented a car and drove to the Dordogne without any problems - read was able to work manual transmission sufficiently. The drive was particularly lovely, no sign of volcanic ash, who knew that the French plant flowering trees all along the road. Beautiful, wish I had a camera strapped to the top of my car to take pix along the way.

Had an incredible duck-centric dinner on my farm.

Today I went to several prehistoric caves and had beautiful weather for driving around. Though I do realize I still need a couple lessons on going uphill in a manual - I'll probably wear out the clutch by the end of the week.

Bisous a tous! Till next time, hopefully on my laptop and with pictures.
