I thought maybe the walk at night night be cooler but I was wrong. It was sweltering hot, especially since we wore long sleeves for extra leech protection. Only one leech on my leech socks at the end. We didn't see many animals on the walk other than a brown palm civet. However, we did a bunch of insects including this really interesting bug emerging out of his cocoon that looked like silly string.
It was our last event with our guide. He asked us if we had any requests for breakfast and I asked for the noodles we had the first day. And voila, noodles for breakfast.
We woke up in the middle of the night and hung out on our balcony for a bit. It was so amazing, the feeling of being in the jungle with all the middle of the night jungle sounds!
