Lonely planet describes this place as - for Indiana Jones types with a healthy wallet. I have to say I'm impressed! It's amazingly beautiful and secluded. It's in the Danum valley which is one of the last virginal rainforest areas in Asia. It looks like Jurassic Park. The trees are so tall and the forest is so dense. It's totally another world.
For service, we were greeted with kafir leaf necklaces, a cool towel, welcome drinks and fruit, and a welcome massage! The lunch spread is delicious!
