We were playing it by ear whether to drive Mount Cook and do the Hooker Valley hike. Well, we took a chance and it was absolutely amazing. Definitely not to be missed!!

We had a beautiful partially cloudy sky with lots of blue for our hike. However, as we were descending, the clouds rolled in and there was even some light rain. Craziest part was the avalanche we heard and saw on one of the glaciers!
Next we drove to Queenstown.
We're staying at Peppers Beacon apartments and this is our view.
