Today was the long drive from Höfn up the east coast to Seyðisfjörður. There were 2 ways to go - mostly along the coast visiting several fjords or up through 2 fjords and then cutting inland along 95. We were going to play it by ear but ultimately did the cut through because the area from the coast was slippery on the road forecast. The views along the road were incredible. And such variety!

Drive towards Hvannagil. The goal was to do the hike at the end but the wind was so strong - 30mph - we decided against it for safety.
