New Zealand - day 5

We had a relaxing morning at our Airbnb. We had some classic Kiwi snacks for breakfast - bacon and egg pie and sausage roll - and some cereal in the covered patio with skylights and view of pastoral New Zealand with goats and horses. It was super peaceful. 

Another dip in the hot tub and we were ready for our drive down to Wellington. 

We went to Owhiro Bay and walked along the coast to Red rocks where we saw furry seals!!

We checked into Naumi hotel with its Alice in Wonderland theme. Cool but a bit disorienting too. 

For dinner we went to Liberty - ok but not spectacular. Our favorite was the Eggplant parmigiana.

Duck Island ice cream for dessert. 

Tomorrow - ferry to South Island!
