Newfoundland Day 6

We stayed in a nice AirBNB in Norris Point - a little studio home right on the waterfront with a deck overlooking the water, next to a trail, next to the ferry.

We walked to the other end of the street and saw the Tablelands in the distance while enjoying our coffee.

We drove over to Woody Point and hiked the Lookout Hill Trail.

The Tablelands are an area of the earth's mantle (upper mantle) that was pushed upward during the initial movement of the continents and over time the crust overlying this mantle was eroded away. This is the place on earth where the mantle is most easily accessible.

Dinner was at Black Spruce which is the restaurant associated with Neddies Inn. It was really good!

after dinner views from where we stayed.
