Confirmation of Splendid/Coral Toadfish - only found in Cozumel, Mexico
For your viewing - 2 images of toadfish I found online. I confirmed that they are only found in Cozumel, Mexico and are often found hiding in the reef with only a portion of their head exposed.
By comparing these pictures with my picture, I'm pretty convinced that I had a bona fide toadfish sighting and picture taking. How awesome is that!!
